Artist Background

Artist and Illustrator Zachary James Kraft has been practicing his craft since a very young age. After excelling in advance college level courses during high school he later achieved his Associates of Fine Art from Saint Louis community college.

Advancing his arts education further, he attended the University of Missouri – Saint Louis, earning not one but two bachelor degrees. The first a B.F.A. in traditional Fine Arts with a major in Drawing and a minor in graphic design, the second B.A. in Art History minoring in Ancient studies.

During & After college

While attending college Zachary worked everywhere the arts being hired as Gallery sales & Merchandising associate at the Wentworth gallery and to entry level graphic design positions. Showing a great aptitutted in professional graphic design he decided to continue working in every position a design or print shop has to offer. Soon after which he started Creative Automaton Design, a full web design and graphic studio which he operates even today.

About the Art

Pulling on the edge of insanity he is an artist of cleaver wit and all encompassing humor. Zachary’s love of the arts drives him daily to express his imagination to the world. Weither it’s blogging a new sketch or painting a commision portrait he strives to acheive greatness in a world otherwise full of banality.
